Café Supervisor Role

This is an important position within the Torus Group where you will be responsible for the daily management and delivery of the Café Recharge offer, including food provision and activities that support the delivery of the youth programme, as well as catering for commercial bookings and events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the food menu is nutritious and meets the needs of the local community and service users.
  • Ensure that all relevant Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene Standards are met, with responsibility.


Requirements:

  • Hold a suitable L3 Food and Hygiene Certificate.


To be Successful:

  • Work well with the public of all ages.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Be prepared to work on a rota basis, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Be approachable and proactive.
  • Avoid any actions that could compromise the safeguarding of service users.


Pre-Employment Checks:

  • Right to work verification.
  • Qualification certificate check.
  • Two completed references.
  • Occupational Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work.
  • DBS check (if required for the role).
  • Completion of all new starter documentation, including signed Terms and Conditions.
