Electrical Category Manager Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Electrical Category Manager to support our UK Commercial strategy in the Electrical sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development and optimisation of our electrical offering, focusing on product innovation, efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Business Management
- Define the category proposition, including core suppliers and brands, core assortment, and sell-out price strategy.
- Own the P&L and drive actions to manage and improve it.
Category Proposition
- Define core suppliers and brands.
- Define core assortment.
- Define sell-out price strategy.
- Gather and provide market intelligence.
- Establish relationships with suppliers.
- Drive product innovation within existing offering.
- Analyse data and transform into potential opportunities.
Category Promotion
- Ideate and implement sales initiatives, such as campaigns, training, and sales enablers.
- Drive category sell-out and reach expected levels of stock turn in conjunction with supply chain.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle of defined category.
- Support quotes, tenders, and special projects.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell, OEM conversion, and value creation.
- Address overall product queries from sales network and customers.
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously review industry/market trends and developments to ensure the category strategy is current and driving business growth.
- Keep up to date with category knowledge, products, and application.
