Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Compass Associates. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult men with forensic backgrounds and enduring mental health conditions.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The shift structure will be a combination of 3 weeks of 3 shifts and 3 weeks of 4 shifts. You will be required to work a mix of days and nights, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide care to adult men with forensic backgrounds and enduring mental health conditions, including personality disorders, substance misuse issues, and challenging behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to service users.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with service users.
  • Provide education and support to service users and their families to promote recovery and well-being.
