Job Description

Job Title: Sports Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team at Junior Adventures Group. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for planning and executing structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation among children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute age-appropriate activities, including multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, and structured play.
  • Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Provide refreshments for the children while maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
  • Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
  • Take the lead in championing health and safety, providing first aid where necessary.
  • Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
  • Inspire our team members and the children in our care to have fun, be active, and lead an active lifestyle.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sports coaching or a related field.
  • Ability to plan and execute engaging activities for children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
