Job Description

**Job Title:** Warehouse Operations Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Swift Recruit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of steel products throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team of operators to pick and collate steel products to order, preparing them for loading as and when orders are generated.
  • Identify and locate different steel products, using appropriate measuring equipment and replenishing stock in the racks.
  • Unload lorries, batch and allocate steel to appropriate locations as necessary.
  • Collate and plan customer orders as per the pre-determined load list and load the lorry accordingly.
  • Attend all training courses when required and follow all safe systems of work at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work at height and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
