Sidcup, Greater London, United Kingdom Bright Leaf Recruitment Full time

The Bright Leaf Recruitment team is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Full or Part-Time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy first opinion clinic near Sidcup, London. This esteemed practice boasts a 20-minute train ride to central London and operates three practices: two for essential care and one dedicated vaccination clinic.

With cutting-edge diagnostics, including Idexx blood machines, in-house Idexx Urinalysis, and a comprehensive dental suite with X-ray, the clinic is well-equipped to handle a diverse caseload. The friendly team of five full-time Vets, five Registered Veterinary Nurses, and twelve supporting staff members prides itself on delivering top-notch service to clients and their pets.

This is a fantastic chance for an ambitious veterinary surgeon to expand their horizons while pursuing specific interests. As a full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week, split across a two-week rota (5 hours per day, Week 1 – 5 days, Week 2 – 5 days), with approximately 1 in 4 Saturdays scheduled. However, the client remains flexible and open to discussing part-time shifts, potentially working 2-3 days per week.

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess post-qualification experience as a Veterinary Surgeon. While prior knowledge in general veterinary duties is beneficial, opportunities exist to explore specialized areas of interest.

We anticipate a salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, reflecting the location's high cost of living.
