Program Support Specialist

UMGC Europe seeks a skilled Program Support Specialist to ensure quality services for current and prospective students.

The ideal candidate will work effectively with the Assistant Director, local military education coordinators, and staff to provide academic and administrative support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to prospects and students, ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
  • Document student contact and schedule follow-up activities through UMGC's Customer Relations Management System.
  • Maintain open communication with host military Education Services Officers and Education Center staff.
  • Organize and participate in local events, representing UMGC professionally.
  • Track and analyze class enrollments, providing input on scheduling and classroom resources.
  • Process students' military documentation, including Tuition Assistance vouchers and ID cards.
  • Distribute marketing materials at assigned locations.
  • Assist with base access and facility support, including opening and closing UMGC Europe labs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Background in customer service
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accurate attention to detail
  • Basic office management and clerical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Successful applicants must pass a background check and meet ILS requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college coursework
  • Valid driver's license

This position is open to local applicants with ILS. A valid passport is required.
