About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Academic Lecturer to join our team at Derby College Group. This role is focused on teaching and program leadership for our Equine Science degree programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and leading Equine Science degree programs
  • Teach theory aspects of the Equine degree, with practical embedment using our Equestrian centre, guest speakers, and external visits
  • Deliver high-quality, inspirational teaching that encourages students to reach their full potential
  • Supervise Dissertation research
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in providing outstanding support for learners
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and dedication to student achievement and quality
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in the Equine sector, with a broad range of industry settings advantageous
  • A degree in a relevant specialism
