Mundipharma is a leading pharmaceutical company that is committed to delivering innovative treatments to patients. We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Health and Safety Specialist will assist the Head of Health, Safety and Environment in supporting the business in its health and safety obligations. The successful candidate will provide practical advice on measures to comply with statutory provisions and ensure the health and safety of employees, contractors, and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Agree annual personal objectives and targets with the Head of Health, Safety and Environment to improve health and safety performance.
  2. Represent the Head of Health, Safety and Environment at meetings as required.
  3. Review and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure they are relevant and effective.
  4. Provide support to departments and project teams on health and safety matters.
  5. Manage the internal and external safety data sheet system.
  6. Manage the contractor management system on site.
  7. Participate in the process hazard analysis programme.
  8. Aid departmental managers in reviewing departmental risk assessments.
  9. Advise on specialist health and safety areas.
  10. Carry out internal compliance audits and implement solutions.
  11. Monitor and review health and safety policy, plans, and practice.
Requirements
  1. NEBOSH Diploma (equivalent) or working towards Chartered Member of Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
  2. Proven understanding of onsite work in Pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, food, research, or relevant industry.
  3. Role model for high performance, patient-centricity, global first mindset, working with pace and agility, and integrity.
  4. Highly collaborative with team members, manager, and business/functional partners.
