Sustainability Role

This role is part of our growing team driving our Sustainability and ESG agenda. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial part in delivering our internal plans and fostering a sustainability mindset within our organisation.

You will work collaboratively with senior managers, directors, and partners to deliver initiatives and communicate regularly on important issues facing our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting decarbonisation efforts: helping build momentum for our science-based net-zero targets by supporting delivery of specific aspects of our decarbonisation plan.
  2. Gathering, checking, and presenting data for annual and ad-hoc reporting, including GHG emissions.
  3. Managing third parties and internal stakeholders in preparation for audits and external assurance.
  4. Collaborating with wellbeing, social mobility, citizenship and equity, and ED&I experts and core business functions across the firm to ensure quality data and tracking.
  5. Understanding progress: maturing non-financial data capability to gain better insights into progress against sustainability ambitions and goals.
  6. Establishing rigorous processes and governance around data with financial and programme management teams, improving confidence in reported data.
Your Profile:
  1. A passion for sustainable and responsible business practices.
  2. An understanding of the ESG regulatory and reporting landscape.
  3. The ability to work with complex data and produce useful insights.
  4. A focus on quality and an eye for detail.
  5. Experience using ESG data platforms and data tools to create and manage internal KPI dashboards.
