About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Air Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Hydro-X Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or continue their career in air hygiene services.

As an Air Hygiene Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Lead Engineer in performing various tasks related to air hygiene, including ventilation and ductwork cleaning.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will also need to be physically fit, as this role may require working at heights and in confined spaces.

Job Responsibilities
  • Kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease standards
  • Working safely with oils, fluids, and lubricants
  • Ensuring service sheets and documentation are completed and issued on time
  • Supporting the Lead with inspection of fire dampers in accordance with BS9999
  • Assisting with installation of access doors into ventilation systems in accordance with DW144
Requirements
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Literacy skills, including the ability to read manuals
