We are seeking an experienced Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role will also involve load testing, pull testing, and occasional destructive testing. In addition to these tasks, the successful candidate will be required to man the rigging loft and inspect lifting accessories.Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations* Load testing and pull testing of lifting equipment* Occasional destructive testing of lifting equipment* Manning the rigging loft and inspecting lifting accessories* Providing a reliable, responsive, and first-class service to customers* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the delivery of our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver* Supporting the business unit/team to achieve strategic objectivesSkills and Qualifications
* Experience working in the lifting equipment industry* LEEA certification* Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential* Ability to work in a testing environment* Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach* Good communication skills with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge* Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable* Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver* Full UK drivers licenceWhat We Offer
