About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SLB. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and sustaining of new or improved products that meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain design layouts, models, drawings, and other documentation needed to define, produce, and sustain products, taking into consideration fabrication methods and applicable internal and external standards.
  • Assist the project manager in planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely fashion.
  • Design, develop, and maintain the mechanical portion of products, meeting product and project requirements, in close collaboration with other disciplines and functions.
  • Participate in the definition of test procedures, performance of tests, and documentation of test results.
  • Continually evaluate engineering approaches, risks, and iterate development plans.
  • Participate in technical reviews of requirements, risks, designs, product files, and other artifacts.
  • Provide training and support to field users and clients.
  • Share expertise internally and expand informal networks throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to the capture of the company's experience in design books and other standards, procedures, training packages.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Subsea Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Professional experience within Mechanical Engineering, such as through an internship.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical system design, CAD, drafting standards, tolerancing, and structural analytical and finite element analysis.
