Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef Manager to join our team at Sainsburys Pineham Distribution Centre in Northampton. This is a permanent and full-time opportunity working 40 hours a week across a range of days and shifts. You will be reporting into our Account Director and will be responsible for all food production across the site.
Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, private industry and Education. We are proud to have some of the best Culinary and Catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams.

A Day in the Life of a Chef Manager:
- Managing a busy 24-7 distribution centre
- Covering food production in chefs' absence
- Take ownership and accountability of all operational food management; production and service
- Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
- Ensure all daily paper/computer work is complete and that inventories and reports are completed correctly and at the right time
- Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
- Manage all casual labour, including porters, and ensure all food and labour costs are in line with budget and business needs
- Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of product within the unit
- Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality offer
