About the Role

Sonovision UK - Ortec Group is seeking a highly skilled GSE Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD Mechanical Designs of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and associated technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop GSE and related components using CATIA V5 and other tools
  • Collaborate with internal departments and customers to understand design requirements and specifications
  • Generate technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Technical Specifications, and User Guides
  • Project manage in-country activity as part of a transnational project management organization
  • Resolve technical requests from internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in related field
  • Demonstrable experience in Aeronautical Engineering
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 desirable
  • Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Jigs and Tools desirable
