Education Professional for SEN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education in Watford. In this vital role, you will be responsible for educating and supporting students with Special Educational Needs in Hayes.
Role OverviewThis SEN Teacher position requires a dedicated professional with experience in teaching SEN students. You will work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and adjust your teaching strategies accordingly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and delivering customized lesson plans that cater to the unique requirements of each student.
- Regularly assessing and documenting student progress, utilizing this data to inform and refine your teaching approaches.
- Working closely with colleagues to develop and implement IEPs.
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND CARERS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching students with SEN.
- Desirable: Relevant SEN teaching qualifications or specialization.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to their academic and emotional well-being.
- An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service.
The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per year, based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional growth and development.
