We're seeking a skilled Hgv Mechanic Technician, Night Shift to join our growing Vehicle Workshop team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet.
About the Role
As an Hgv Mechanic Technician, Night Shift, you'll be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance of the John Lewis Partnership Fleet in a professional and competent manner. You'll work closely with our experienced technicians to ensure high-quality repairs are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all inspection/service/defect paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Carry out servicing & repairs of the Partnerships fleet of vehicles
• Assist in specific projects as directed by management
• Keep up-to-date of developments within the motor industry and take note of changes that may affect the effective operation of the workshop

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• A full UK driving licence
• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
A 'C' or 'C+E' driving licence is desirable but not essential.
