Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Cook to join our team at Sodexo. As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals to our residents. You will work closely with our catering team to ensure that our kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare meals for our residents
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and work surfaces are clean and hygienic
  • Manage and control all food, including receiving and checking stock
  • Monitor portion control and ensure that all meals are presented to a high standard
  • Report any accidents or near misses to the Catering Supervisor
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking
  • Experience of working to strict food hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and cook a variety of cuisines
