Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that we provide the highest standard of care and support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our SEND policies and procedures, working closely with senior management and other teams to enhance our SEND offering. This includes co-ordinating support, liaising with external agencies, and providing training and guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the implementation of our SEND policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • To work collaboratively with senior management and other teams to develop and improve our SEND offering, including co-ordinating support and resources.
  • To provide training and guidance to colleagues on SEND-related matters, including child development, legislation, and best practice.
  • To liaise with external agencies, including local authorities and professionals, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • To evaluate and audit our SEND provision regularly, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in SEND. The ideal candidate will have:

A deep understanding of SEND legislation, policy, and best practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Proven experience in managing and implementing SEND policies and procedures.A track record of delivering training and guidance to colleagues on SEND-related matters.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and audit complex systems and processes.
