Join Our Team: Cybersecurity Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to help us protect our organisation's critical assets. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our cyber resilience.

About the Role:
This position requires a talented individual to lead incident response and security automation efforts. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure our systems remain secure and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage alerts, apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and lead incident containment and resolution while collaborating across teams.
  2. Conduct scans, prioritise risks, and coordinate remediation with IT to ensure systems remain secure and up-to-date.
  3. Develop tools to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance security processes for smarter defences.
  4. Analyse suspicious emails, implement DMARC, SPF, and DKIM protocols, and secure email communications with encryption.
  5. Deploy and optimise security platforms like EDR/XDR, SIEM, and email gateways, improving detection accuracy and reducing false positives.
  6. Leverage deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and monitoring tools to protect infrastructure against threats.
  7. Share expertise, collaborate with teams, and embed security best practices into every project.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in incident response.
  • Comprehensive understanding of email security protocols and tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with security automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security platform deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Security and Privilege Access Management.
  • Understanding of industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, SANS, and CIS controls.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and proactive defence strategies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
