Smile Education Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively with Mowbray Education Trust, a trust that prioritizes the well-being and education of children. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team and support the Secondary Schools in the area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach to work with pupils from Year 7 through to GCSE level, supporting their physical education and development. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced PE Teachers, delivering pre-planned lesson content and contributing to the overall educational experience of the students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality sports coaching to pupils in a Secondary School setting
  • Work collaboratively with PE Teachers to develop and implement lesson plans
  • Support the physical education and development of pupils from Year 7 to GCSE level
  • Contribute to the overall educational experience of the students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a sports-related field or significant experience working with children or young adults
  • Confidence in managing practical sports activities with large groups of pupils
  • A genuine interest in working within a school setting and supporting pupils in physical education
