School Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, high-quality food for our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing way.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Be an excellent team player with a committed and organized approach.
- Have a desire to succeed in your role and be flexible to work shifts.
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
