Job Title: Transport Operations Supervisor
Menzies Distribution Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor to oversee the efficient distribution of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transport legislation, health and safety regulations, and customer service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the distribution of goods to meet customer requirements
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health and safety regulations
- Monitor and control the transportation of goods to minimize delays and maximize efficiency
- Communicate with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Investigate and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation
Requirements:
- Experience in a transport operations role
- Knowledge of transport legislation and health and safety regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
