About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you play a key part in delivering high-profile water infrastructure projects across Southern England. As an Associate Director - Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading designs, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.
Key highlights of this role include:
- Providing technical leadership on projects, with a focus on quality management and compliance with industry standards.
- Leading designs at all stages, from feasibility studies to detailed designs, and preparing reports and technical specifications.
- Overseeing efficient project delivery, managing risk, and ensuring projects stay on budget and on schedule.
You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to deliver complex projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with Chartered status with a relevant institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM).
- Strong technical expertise in water sector projects, including experience of delivering schemes for relevant clients and knowledge of UK-wide codes and standards.
- A proven track record of providing guidance, mentoring, and technical advice to junior staff, supporting their chartership journey and professional development.
