Job Description

HGV Driver/Site Plant Operator

As a key member of our team at HB People, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering our equipment to designated locations across the UK and Ireland. This role involves nationwide travel, including overnight stays in your vehicle, and requires flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading equipment at designated locations
  • Delivering equipment to clients and sites across the UK and Ireland
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets

Requirements:

  • Full HGV 1 (C+E) EU license with no more than three penalty points
  • Experienced lorry loader with ALMI or CPCS lorry loader hook card
  • Valid Driver Qualifications Card
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in loading, securing, and unloading loads
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight in the UK

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Highways environment
  • Plant Operator/Telehandler w/Forks (full training can be provided)
