About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed home for children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the children's home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and maintaining high standards of care.

This is a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children while growing within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and developing a team of care staff to provide high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and care planning.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
  • Driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home meets and exceeds regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and a track record of successful inspections.
  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children.
