Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated dietitian to join our multidisciplinary metabolic team, providing comprehensive dietetic care to patients with Adult Inherited Metabolic Diseases (AIMDs). This role offers excellent opportunities for development and career advancement.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patients with complex, multi-system conditions and providing food and supplement-based diet advice.
  • Building positive long-term relationships with the AIMD patient cohort.
  • Developing patient engagement with their dietetic management, considering factors such as psychological, social, learning and physical disabilities, pregnancy, palliative care, and acute decompensation management.
  • Contributing to the running and further development of the Adult Inherited Metabolic Service at Salford, supporting clinical research and working with national and international AIMD networks.
