Telecommunications Specialist

MRTC Ltd is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our team in the East Midlands.

The role involves supporting customized radio communication systems for clients during events, including preparation, planning, operation, and review of PMR systems, such as VHF and UHF, FM, utilizing expertise primarily with JVC-Kenwood products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for detecting, locating, and analyzing radio interference and performing fault-finding maintenance to ensure optimal communication during events.

Additionally, they will drive technology innovation, combining standards of Radio over IP and RF over fibre for multisite approaches, enabling efficient signal transmission and integration of newer standards.

• Support customised radio communication systems for clients during events
• Detect and resolve radio interference issues
• Ensure optimal communication through fault-finding maintenance
• Drive technological advancements in multisite approaches
