About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Tower Hamlets. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in mental health and wants to make a real difference in people's lives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of mental health issues and the principles of adult social care. You should also be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting individuals with mental health issues to develop coping strategies and self-management techniques.
  • Assisting individuals to access community resources and services, such as GP appointments and counseling sessions.
  • Developing and implementing individual support plans to meet the needs of each customer.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and progress.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure seamless delivery of support services.
