Transform Technical Services with Visionary Leadership

We're seeking a seasoned Resource Planning Manager to spearhead resource allocation and drive efficiency across our high-performing technical services team. As a key player in operations, you'll collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative resource management strategies to maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Technical Services managers to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Monitor resource utilization and tackle bottlenecks to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Drive performance by ensuring project delivery, response time, and first-time fix rates are consistently achieved
  • Empower your team through development and mentorship, fostering a culture of proactive service and continuous learning
  • Ensure safety and compliance standards are always top priority
  • Identify commercial opportunities and drive revenue growth for the department
What You'll Achieve:
  • Complete role-specific training and get to know the ins and outs of Technical Service & Support operations
  • Build strong internal networks within the UK and global business, setting your team up for long-term success
  • Start regular check-ins with your team, setting clear objectives and development goals
  • Align annual objectives and performance metrics with business needs, ensuring your team is always set up for success
  • Collaborate with other managers to deliver key strategies and drive business results
  • Lead the way in developing a high-performance culture in your team, underpinned by our Leadership Behaviours
  • Implement metrics to measure success and continue driving improvement across all areas
  • Lead continuous coaching and professional development for your team, helping them reach new heights

About You:
  • You hold a degree or equivalent experience in engineering, project management, or business
  • You have 3+ years of experience in resource management within a technical services or project-based environment
  • You have proven experience managing remote, multi-skilled teams
  • You're a motivational leader, adept at change management, and thrive on driving performance
  • You're a collaborative networker, excellent at building relationships and inspiring others
