Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a student in need of additional guidance. As a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you will be responsible for delivering core subject support in English, Maths, and Science to a Year 10 student who is not currently accessing mainstream education.

Our client, Prospero Teaching, specializes in providing qualified and experienced tutors to work with children in looked after care, pupils in mainstream schools requiring additional support, and young people not accessing mainstream education. This role will involve delivering 15 hours of face-to-face tuition per week at the student's school in Okehampton, with the possibility of online sessions where needed.

You will be expected to gather your own resources and deliver the curriculum you deem fit, taking into account the student's ability and targets for education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 educational support to a Year 10 student
