Production Lead Opportunity at Mars Wrigley Plymouth

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Lead to join our team at Mars Wrigley Plymouth. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of production operators and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of production operators to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling department to plan and coordinate production schedules.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production data and performance metrics.
  • Identify and address any safety or quality issues that may arise during production.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to manage inventory and supplies.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the production team to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
