We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Berry Recruitment. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in processing orders, managing supply chain resources, and ensuring customer service targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical tools and market information.
- Liaise with production planning teams to resolve supply chain issues and capacity constraints.
- Organize inbound containers for the UK Distribution Centre operation to meet customer forecasts.
- Conduct analysis and challenge sales forecasts to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Manage inventory targets and take responsibility for Key Performance Indicators.
Candidate Specification:
- Previous experience in a FMCG environment.
- Previous scheduling, forecasting, planning, and procurement experience.
- Sound knowledge of SAP/MRP systems.
- Experience in dealing with supply chain and operational issues.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and accurate IT and data entry skills.
