About the Role

Pareto FM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations for one of our key accounts across multiple sites, including direct ownership and delivery through direct reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and Pareto FM teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee and lead the operational and strategic delivery of facilities management contracts, focusing on innovation and exceeding customer contractual requirements.
  • Manage financial performance of each contract, including monthly invoicing activities, and ensure regular reporting and review is in place for all accounts.
  • Act as a point of contact for external auditors and operate as an integral part of the Pareto internal audit process.
  • Lead the management of projects, including cost build-ups and program timelines, and ensure the renewal process is proactively delivered with area of responsibility.
  • Manage relationships with significant subcontractors and act as a superuser for a defined system used within the company.
  • Line manage a defined team of direct reports, communicating effectively in both written and verbal format to ensure team members are clear about expectations.
  • Monitor and support all disciplinary and absence processes in line with Pareto policy, and ensure regular site visits are in place to drive team engagement.
  • Operate as part of the new starter process, particularly meeting every new team member face-to-face within their first month, and review all exit interviews to make recommendations.
  • Ensure performance management processes are delivered, including appraisals, setting objectives, and managing challenges and issues.
  • Monitor overtime, expense, and mileage levels and approve claims within area of responsibility, and support the development and delivery of the company's training approach.
  • Perform final-stage interviews where required, identify high-performing team members, and seek to apply reward and recognition processes where appropriate.
  • Operate as part of the Pareto mentoring program and be a trusted source of innovation for clients in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Suitable, recent, and relevant FM experience (typically 7+ years)
  • A IWFM qualification (or similar) level 5 or above
  • A minimum of IOSH Managing Safely qualified or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of FM service delivery across all services lines
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and work on own initiative
  • Ability to work in, and adapt to, a rapidly changing environment
  • Comfortable challenging poor standards or behavior and implementing change
  • Ability to work co-operatively with others to complete tasks and implement process improvements
