With our main office in Birmingham, this new London location will offer you the chance to contribute to a range of transport planning projects while helping shape the future of the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering transport planning projects, including transport assessments, travel plans, and transport statements for private and public sector clients.
  • Conduct transport-related data collection, analyze traffic patterns, and assist in interpreting and presenting findings using relevant tools and software.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, such as transport assessments, feasibility studies, and travel plans, in accordance with local and national planning guidelines.
  • Work closely with colleagues in both the London and Birmingham offices, contributing to project delivery and supporting the smooth running of the new office.
  • Assist in liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to provide updates on projects and ensure effective communication.
  • Help develop transport strategies that encourage sustainable travel modes, such as walking, cycling, and public transport.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with transport planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce accurate reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Able to work effectively within a small team, contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • A keen interest in transport planning and a commitment to sustainable, innovative transport solutions.
