Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Emerging Talent Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and recruiting high-calibre emerging talent across multiple offices, ensuring we are the graduate employer of choice in the legal sector.
This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, and managing the full selection process from application screening to delivering feedback.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective graduate and apprentice recruitment strategies across multiple offices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including university representatives and school/college contacts.
- Manage the full selection process, including application screening, video interviews, assessment centres, and candidate offers.
- Engage with and support future talent in the two years prior to joining, ensuring they are on track with their legal education and prepared for relevant examinations.
- Facilitate vacation schemes with key stakeholders for the offices you support.
- Lead our emerging talent social media accounts and campaigns, promoting the employer brand on social media.
- Support the Emerging Talent Business Partner focusing on trainee and apprentice development, where required.
- Manage any other graduate recruitment processes for non-legal programmes.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on key recruitment metrics.
- Experience in graduate/apprentice recruitment activities with a successful track record of working with universities and schools/colleges.
- Knowledge and understanding of the legal education system and routes to qualification in England & Wales, and Scotland.
- High levels of attention to detail, with excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Competence in using information systems, including applicant tracking systems.
- A good understanding and practical experience of student recruitment within a law firm or professional services organisation.
- Geographical mobility, with regular travel to multiple offices, as required by the role.
- Estimated annual salary: £60,000 - £80,000 depending on location and experience.
