Aerospace Precision Engineering Opportunity

CNC Machinists are required to work with prestigious aerospace companies, machining complex parts to close tolerances on 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC mills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator using 3/4/5 axis machines and be familiar with multi-pallet systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machining complex aerospace parts to close tolerances
• Operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC mills
• Maintaining a clean machining area and conducting basic operator maintenance
• Performing basic 1st off quality inspection of machined parts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator using 3/4/5 axis machines
• Familiarity with multi-pallet systems
• Experience with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol and/or Siemens controls
• Previous aerospace experience is advantageous
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings
• Precision skills for working within tight tolerances
• Competence in using measuring equipment (Vernier calipers, bore micrometres, etc.)
• Capability to handle heavy billets
• Safety-conscious and detail-focused
• Strong team player
