We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Health Your Way. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation.
  • Assist with meal preparation, household chores, and other domestic duties.
  • Accompany the individual to appointments, social events, and other activities.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to the individual.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's healthcare team to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably supporting individuals with epilepsy and/or seizures.
  • Ability to provide supervision and assistance with personal care tasks.
  • Full driving license and own vehicle (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings and evenings.
  • Enhanced DBS check (cost met by the employer).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate (£9.00-£10.50 per hour, depending on experience).
  • Pension scheme.
  • 5.6 weeks' annual leave (pro rata).
  • Full training and certification on all aspects of the role.
