Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Family Law team, coordinating activities, and objectives. While a background in law is not essential, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to the wider team are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and send reports to a high standard using Bighand for audio typing
- Manage the DPS system, administering existing jobs and ensuring seamless coordination with fee earners
- Liaise with fee earners, prioritizing their administrative tasks and maintaining effective communication
- Maintain accurate filing systems, including scanning and implementing paperless solutions
- Develop PC skills as necessary to execute job tasks efficiently
- Record phone calls, inquiries, and requests, handling them accordingly
- Fully utilize equipment and systems, ensuring seamless operations
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Exemplary administration skills
- Proactive time management abilities
- Friendly and communicative demeanor, suitable for a business team environment
- Excellent oral communication, interpersonal skills, and telephone manner
