About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Development Manager to lead the launch of our latest product, Lexology Compete. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong relationships with customers, and ensuring seamless client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strong Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and upselling existing products to drive revenue growth.
  • Launch and Grow Lexology Compete: Lead the launch of Lexology Compete, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Team Management: Manage a team within the department, overseeing workloads, planning development, and providing coaching and mentoring to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Client Renewals: Support team members in managing client renewals throughout the renewal cycle, ensuring seamless client experiences and driving revenue growth.
  • Market and Sector Knowledge: Develop in-depth market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors, sharing insights within the company to enhance client experiences and product development.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a highly professional telephone manner.
  • International Outlook: Have an international outlook and a deep understanding of the legal sector or professional services.
  • Team Management: Have experience mentoring or coaching junior sales team members, with the ability to self-motivate and motivate others in a target-driven environment.
