Key Responsibilities:- Engage in regular supervision and apply critical reflection to inform professional decisions, ensuring risks are discussed with line managers for guidance and support.
- Conduct effective assessments of individual and carer needs and risks, using a strengths-based approach to ensure outcomes are focused.
- Provide advice and information to residents and carers, ensuring timely communication of assessments, care plans, and service provision details.
- Monitor implementation of care packages and review support plans to meet needs and risks, in accordance with statutory requirements and Council policy.
- Understand the impact of poverty, inequality, and diversity on social and economic opportunities, and how these relate to residents' health and wellbeing, particularly in adult safeguarding and child protection.
- £3,000 retention bonus every 2 years of service.
- Payment of Social Work England registration fee.
- Performance-related salary progression scheme.
- 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays (40 paid days in total).
- Access to fully funded training opportunities and career pathways, including Practice Educator, Social Work Apprenticeships, Coaching and Mentoring, and Adults Safeguarding at Risk.
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
