About the Role:
The Gen AI Integration Specialist at S&P Global plays a key role in incorporating AI capabilities into content creation processes. Working closely with content teams, this role analyzes opportunities for AI application, crafts effective prompts, and supports content creators as they transition to AI-centric workflows. The specialist also focuses on promoting the use of Gen AI and automation tools within business workflows and provides training and support on AI capabilities for existing and new platforms and services.

The Team:
This role is part of a highly motivated team scaling innovation and building platforms for our Commodity Insight business lines, including news, pricing, research, and analytics. We use Agile methodologies to drive ongoing delivery work closely with business and technology partners to share knowledge, embrace change, and implement best-of-breed technology.

Responsibilities and Impact:
  1. Understand how new AI technologies can be applied to create content, automate workflows, and improve data analysis.
  2. Collaborate with content creators to identify and implement AI solutions, including writing effective prompts and engaging AI to optimize content generation.
  3. Lead application training sessions and facilitate additional enterprise AI trainings to impacted groups.
  4. Create relevant, simple, and concise training content and process documents that help colleagues understand changes and enable effective sharing of information.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated experience in crafting prompts for generative AI, with a portfolio of examples ranging from simple to complex scenarios.
  2. Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and its application in creating effective AI prompts.
  4. Proficiency in a scripting language like Python to facilitate prompt development and testing.
  5. Proficient in training and change management to foster technology adoption.
  6. Proficiency in the English language, writing and speaking.
  7. Ability to translate technical AI concepts into practical applications for non-technical teams.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Practical experience with data analysis and AI-driven problem-solving techniques.
  2. Experience in content creation activities - researching, reporting, and content analysis.
