We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in the Ashford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of KS3 and KS4 students
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and enrich the educational experiences of the students
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to spark curiosity and critical thinking in students
Requirements:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
Be able to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
