About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring a clean, well-stocked environment that meets customer expectations.
- Lead and motivate a team of colleagues, providing coaching and feedback to drive performance and improve service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including coaching colleagues and providing feedback to the team.
- Work closely with store managers to deliver business objectives, including maintaining a great understanding of store performance and assisting in implementing actions to improve store operations.
- Set a great example for colleagues, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
What We Offer
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will benefit from a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. You will also receive a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if desired.
We are committed to supporting flexibility for our colleagues, and we would love to hear from you if your availability matches closely but not exactly to our advertised times.
