About the Role

The Transport Analyst - Courier will oversee the transport contracts and delivery processes for Aliaxis UK, ensuring high levels of service and a transparent cost-effective operation. This role requires close collaboration with the Transport Manager to plan and coordinate courier operations, manage logistics data, and monitor carrier performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational contracts, costs, and service level performance for courier contracts in Aliaxis UK
  • Plan and coordinate courier operations to meet customer demands and service level agreements
  • Utilize planning systems, Excel, and MS Office applications to create transport schedules, reports, and manage administrative tasks
  • Manage POD access and ensure internal stakeholders can access data efficiently
  • Create and maintain robust KPIs to monitor service levels of partners and tie into wider Supply Chain and Commercial functions
  • Manage logistics, including route planning and vehicle allocation
  • Monitor and evaluate carrier performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing strategies for enhancements

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong logistics data process in an SME or larger company with oversight of 3PL contracts
  • Experience of driving improvements in 3PL logistics operations across multiple sites and suppliers
  • Strong data analyst comfortable using ERP, WMS, and MRP alongside Excel, Access, and Power BI to automate processes and provide clear reports
  • Experience with MS Dynamics AX is desirable
