Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead our cutting-edge product area, leading a team of highly skilled engineers in building scalable and maintainable systems. Key responsibilities include driving growth, adopting new technologies, and empowering team members to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Growth and Success: Oversee the development and ongoing success of a rapidly growing end-to-end product area, ensuring continued innovation and progress.
  • Strategic Technological Leadership: Navigate the technical landscape, strategically adopting new technologies and pioneering innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Empowering Your Team: Support and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers, guiding them through complex problems and fostering their growth, performance, and happiness.
  • Representing Your Team: Serve as the face of your team within Tipalti engineering and beyond, advocating for their needs and accomplishments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate improvements in ways of working, including technical processes, to drive pace and quality in product development.

About You

  • Experience in Team Leadership: Bring at least 2 years of experience in leading teams, showcasing your ability to guide and inspire team members effectively.
  • Dynamic Leadership: Excel in dynamic environments, adept at handling diverse responsibilities and leading an evolving team.
  • Mentorship: Be a passionate and enthusiastic leader, dedicated to creating an inclusive, collaborative, and fun culture while developing your team.
  • Technological Versatility: Possess a broad technology toolbox, encompassing languages like C#, NodeJS, VueJS, React, and React Native, and be eager to enhance our products with new technologies.
  • Ownership Mentality: Take ownership of the entire product area and drive it to greatness, prioritizing results-oriented and solution-focused approaches.
  • Commitment to Quality: Prioritize building reliable, well-designed, and well-tested systems, maintaining technical excellence and delivering outcomes.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Location: Flexible remote work options, with occasional on-site visits required.
