About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Neuro and Trauma team as a static band 6 Trauma Physiotherapist. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with an interest in Trauma to work in a large, friendly, and dynamic multidisciplinary team based at the Royal London hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and contribute to organizing and delivering a high-quality physiotherapy service provided to patients following major trauma/trauma.
  • Provide interventions including advanced assessment and treatment of patients, provision of individual and group education and treatment, provision of assistive devices (orthotics) and equipment, and respiratory assessment and treatment.
  • Work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist on the Royal London site working primarily across Major Trauma, Orthopaedics, and Plastics.
  • Support the wider Neuro & Trauma team as needed clinically and operationally (across Major Trauma, Orthopaedics, and Plastics, and Neurosciences wards).

Person Specification
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and a CPD portfolio
  • Member of CSP
  • Member of a ATOCP/BACPAR
  • Post graduate courses relevant to clinical field
  • Post graduate experience working as a physiotherapist within an acute hospital setting
  • Completed junior rotations in core specialities of respiratory, neurology, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedics
  • Band 6 level experience in trauma & orthopaedics
  • Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and/or multi-disciplinary team
  • Contribution to clinical education of less experienced staff and/or students or assistants
