Accounts Associate

Brook Street is a dynamic and growing family-run business seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Director in the preparation of monthly management accounts and other key financial reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payments from customers.
• Monitor the accounts inbox, responding promptly to inquiries from customers and colleagues.
• Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparations for financial audits, ensuring all documentation is in order.
• Provide additional support to the Finance Director with various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
• Solid experience in credit control.
• AAT qualified or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with good attention to detail.
