The Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team as a leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of care, leading the care team to deliver outcomes for our residents, and maintaining effective communications.

  • Achieve a high standard of care by ensuring that all residents receive the highest quality of care and services.
  • Lead the care team to deliver outcomes for our residents by setting clear goals and objectives, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain effective communications by ensuring that all team members are aware of day-to-day changes and updates.
  • Manage wounds and ensure that all care procedures are carried out according to policy.
  • Be responsible for the ordering, administration, and recording of medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
  • Provide personal care for residents, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort to our residents.
  • Carry out staff supervision and appraisals with the team.
  • Implement changes in routine and procedures as agreed with the manager.
  • Assess prospective clients and residents.
  • Complete the duty rota as necessary.
  • Carry out internal quality audits as agreed with the manager.
  • Participate fully in the training and development of all grades of staff.
  • Assist the manager in working within agreed budgets.
