About the Role

As a Regional Senior Care Assistant with Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents across a 20-mile radius. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the delivery of care, contribute to person-centred care planning, and provide support and companionship to our residents. This is a varied role that requires a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a background in care, with a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential, with a view to completing an NVQ 3. You will also need a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry and ideally, a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. As you will be travelling across the area, you will either need your own car or ready access to one. We will cover your mileage when you travel over five miles from your main home, and if you are on duty at the time of an inspection and we achieve a Good' rating, you will qualify for a bonus.

Qualifications
